Keep Your Lawn Healthy and Beautiful All Year Round with Polar Lawn Care
If you want to have a beautiful and healthy lawn all year round, Polar Lawn Care can help you achieve that. We offer a comprehensive lawn treatment plan that includes pre-emergent weed control, fertilisation, scarifying, over-seeding, top dressing, weed and moss control, and wetting agent application.
Our lawn treatment plan includes six applications that are tailored to the specific needs of your lawn. Our first application is GreenTec Pre-Emergent, which is a 100% natural weed control and fertiliser that prevents weed seeds from germinating properly and gets the growing season started off on the right foot. We also offer GreenTec Weed & Moss to get rid of broadleaf weeds and moss in your lawn while fertilising your soil with essential nutrients.

Our scarifying and over-seeding services remove harmful excess thatch from your lawn and allow proper seed to soil contact when over-seeding bare patches in your lawn. We apply a mixture of 70% sports sand and 30% graded topsoil, along with the correct seed for your lawn. This is carried out in April.
We also offer GreenTec Weed & Moss for a second time between late April and early May, which is the busiest time of year because dandelions are growing like crazy and are a major problem. Our herbicide-free weed and moss killer gives your weeds a nutrient overdose, and grows a thicker, healthier emerald green lawn.
As the weather gets warmer, your lawn will need help holding onto water. That's why we offer a hydration treatment in May, which prepares your lawn for the hotter months and minimises the risk of your lawn drying out for up to 30 days.
In late June, we offer our third application of GreenTec Weed & Moss. This is the time of year when summer weeds start to become a problem. We catch these weeds early in the growing season, and the weeds turn black and die within a few days after the application.

August is the time for weeds like black medic, plantain, thistle, purslane, oxalis, clover, etc. There is another round of dandelions, but not as bad as they are in May. This is why we offer our fourth application of GreenTec Weed & Moss in August, which is designed to kill these problematic weeds.
Our fifth application is GreenTec Pre-Emergent with corn gluten meal, which is a natural pre-emergent weed control that works wonders as a lawn winteriser. The more GreenTec is applied, the better it works. Therefore, if it is applied in the autumn and again in the spring, the lawn will have fewer weeds than if it's only applied in the spring. This is applied between late September and October.

Finally, in November to February, we offer our sixth application of GreenTec Weed & Moss. Winter is the time when moss tends to take hold within a lawn, which is why it is important to act quickly and ensure your lawn treatment plan continues throughout the winter months. GreenTec will control moss within the lawn, keep fungal disease at bay, and also provide essential nutrients to the grass plants during the winter months.
At Polar Lawn Care, we understand that every lawn is different. That's why we offer a tailored treatment plan based on your lawn's specific needs. Our prices are based on your lawn(s) square footage, and payments are due on each visit, not up-front.

Reading this post took me right back to the summer I moved into my first house and was terrified of the patchy, brown spots that seemed to appear after every heat wave. I decided to give Polar Lawn Care a try after a neighbor swore by their service, and the difference was night and day. Within a few weeks the grass turned a deep, vibrant green and stayed that way even when the temperature spiked http://www.espn.com/blog/poker/post/_/id/2509/pokerstars-launches-new-jersey-online-poker-platform What really stuck with me was the simple maintenance schedule they provided; I set reminders on my phone and never missed a fertilization or aeration date again. The best part was watching my kids play on a lawn that felt soft under their feet…
Reading this post reminded me of the summer I spent trying to revive my stubborn backyard lawn after a harsh drought. I was convinced nothing would work until I hired a local service that used a similar approach to Polar Lawn Care—regular aeration, targeted fertilization, and a consistent watering schedule adjusted for the season. Within a few weeks the brown patches turned a vibrant green, and the soil felt looser under my feet https://ndh.org.au/ I also learned the value of overseeding in early fall; the new seedlings filled in the thin spots and have stayed lush through winter. The key was sticking to the routine rather than letting the grass go unchecked for months. It’s funny how a simple change…
This title immediately brought to mind the absolute nightmare my lawn became a few summers ago. We'd just moved in, and I thought a bit of watering would be enough. Oh, how wrong I was! Before I knew it, it was a patchy, brown mess that looked more like a desert than a garden. I spent so much time trying to figure out what went wrong, reading articles online, and still felt completely overwhelmed https://www.choice.com.au/ It wasn't until I finally called a professional service that things started to turn around. They had the knowledge and the right treatments to bring it back to life. It’s amazing what a difference expert care can make. I wish I'd known about services like…
